Oh ya, another one I forgot, Phat Farm Atman, which was actually a pretty solid one, from a house named "Phat Farm". Carrying this sweet, cloying, and somewhat dirty and animallic suede note that is common in all of these. Guess Seductive, Guess Suede (discontinued), but most notably, CK Euphoria. Usher always reminded me of a few fragrances. On the negative though, that's not at all a good thing.

It would be a sin to pay full price for this. Not even close to essential, but some men could find this to be a quality signature scent, it has that capability with the right skin.

Usher fragrances may be sold at the same prices as others that use higher quality oils and ingredients, but don´t be fooled, this is heavily synthetic stuff and relies far too heavily on taking shortcuts to turn a profit, but to budget minded consumers it certainly offers a nice alternative. Safe, clean and versatile, it does not turn heads but it seems to function better in isolation or smaller rooms. There is a wide range of influences here, suede, lavender, fruits and a tint of floral. Seems to have found a niche as the most accessible of all the fragrances in the Usher triad for men. It could work either at the office or on a night out, it´s lack of personality does pay dividends. Usher does not deserve the heavy criticism heaped upon it, it certainly isn´t exceptional, but at the same time it does offer the wearer a nice, inoffensive, rather versatile fragrance with average silage and projection. And let´s be honest, sell they do, but to a very small market of generally one-time buyers who either outgrow their affinity for the celebrity or move on to the next trend at the blink of an eye. Falls very much in line with the safe modern fragrances of the big export houses, which rely more on blind buys and thus tend to churn out these frags relying more on marketing, celebrity affiliation and packaging to sell.
